What do we need for each item?
| Information | What to provide | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Item details | Category, brand, model or style, size and colour | Create an item reference and an accurate description |
| Actual condition | Overall, front, back and label photos, plus wear, stains and defects | Help buyers understand the actual item and reduce description disputes |
| Measurements and accessories | Relevant measurements, materials, included accessories and missing parts | Reduce repeated questions from buyers |
| Source and ownership | Information supporting the source and your right to sell | Assess whether the item can enter the sales process |
| Stock and fulfilment | Quantity, location, stock holder and dispatch contact | Avoid selling unavailable stock or unclear dispatch responsibilities |
| Pricing instructions | Proposed price, minimum acceptable price and whether offers are allowed | Set listing and price-adjustment permissions |
What counts as one listing?
Fees are based on the listing records defined in your quote. Confirm whether posting to another account or channel, relisting after deletion, or separate listings for different sizes or conditions incur additional fees.
Items of the same style may still need different work. Quantity, size, condition and whether photos can be reused all affect preparation and publishing. We confirm the count when reviewing your item list.
When do we need more information?
Blurred photos, missing label or defect shots, unclear sizes or stock, and missing source information must be resolved before publishing. Items with authenticity concerns, serious damage or incompatible channel requirements are not accepted as standard listing jobs.
For low-value items, compare handling costs with the likely proceeds first. Bundling or leaving an item unlisted may be more suitable; not every item is worth processing.
What if my items have not been photographed?
Send a batch overview and your existing photos first. We can identify missing shots. Photography, condition checks and measurements through VT Studio need a separate scope, handover and quote. Do not ship before the address and item list are confirmed.
Before your items go live
Can you publish first and fill in missing details later?
Information needed to identify the item, describe its condition and fulfil the sale must be complete first. Unconfirmed details must not be presented as facts.
What if a listing needs correcting?
Your quote defines the included review and revision rounds. Correcting our entry errors is treated separately from new information, a change of scope or a request to republish.
Can similar items share one listing?
We check quantity, size, condition and photos before agreeing the listing count. Separate listings may be needed where the items differ; your quote defines the billable records.
Have your item details ready?
Share a batch overview and a few photos to discuss listing preparation.
