Compare the two arrangements
| Responsibility | Your own account | An account operated by us |
|---|---|---|
| Account and seller identity | Record your account and the actual selling entity | Identify the account operator, selling entity and authority to sell your items |
| Publishing | Confirm the supported method; if you publish, we deliver ready-to-use listing content | Proceed as agreed after reviewing the items and channel requirements |
| Permissions | Agree permissions for enquiries, offers, price changes, cancellations and refunds | Define what we may handle and what still needs your approval |
| Sales proceeds | Confirm the channel payment recipient and how records are reconciled with you | Specify the payment recipient, platform deductions, refund reserves and conditions for paying you |
| End of service | Hand over item and order records and end access as agreed | Reconcile payments and arrange handover of active listings, open orders and physical stock |
What our account arrangement means
Our account arrangement starts with assessing whether we can handle your items through an identified selling entity. It does not automatically include selling, renting or transferring an account, or accepting every category and location.
Our quote form does not collect passwords, verification codes or payment credentials. Necessary authorisation is arranged after the execution method and channel conditions are confirmed. If a method cannot be used, we revise the plan. Prepared content is not recorded as a published listing.
Stock and accounts can have different operators
If you hold the items, nominate a dispatch contact and keep stock information current. Warehouse fulfilment needs agreed instructions, packaging, shipping and a returns address. If we receive the items, item lists, storage, dispatch and return fees are agreed separately.
The account used for selling does not automatically determine who stores, dispatches or handles aftercare for the items. These responsibilities belong in the service agreement.
Before work starts
- The selling entity and selected account arrangement.
- Ownership, source, stock location and dispatch provider.
- Permissions for publishing, offers, refunds and exceptions.
- How platform charges, service fees and sales proceeds are handled.
- How unsold items and open orders are handed over when service ends.
Your account questions
Can I enquire without an account?
Yes. Tell us your location, items and stock arrangements. Select an assessment for sales through our account arrangement, or ask for help choosing. Acceptance and the selling entity must be confirmed after review.
Do I have to give you my login?
Shared passwords are not the default method. Your quote defines the supported execution method, permissions and deliverables. Content preparation and direct publishing are separate scopes.
Who receives the payment?
This depends on the selling entity and channel payment arrangements. Before work starts, confirm the recipient, deductions, refunds and reconciliation process. An account option alone is not a payment agreement.
